Social Proof Pop-ups FAQ

Wondering what the pop-ups in the lower left corner of our website are all about? Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about them.

What are these pop-ups?

This information lets you know how many people have recently visited our site, made purchases, and signed up for our newsletter.

Is the data real?

100% yes. We're aware that some social-proof services can be programmed to portray manufactured or random data, but we don't do that here. Our social proof widget is powered by Influence, a company committed to only displaying their clients' authentic and verified data.

Why are you showing this information?

Our customers are the kind of people who know what they want, and we think it's nice to give you a peek at who's doing what. Don't worry: all statistics are anonymous! We'll never display your name without your express permission.

Why are the numbers of people purchasing and signing up so high / so low?

The data shown is a recent snapshot, so sometimes the numbers will be up, and other times they'll be down. We're proud to have a great group of loyal customers who keep coming back, and when they do you'll see the stats reflect that for about a week.

The pop-ups are annoying—can I make them go away?

Of course! We understand that sometimes you want a focused shopping experience, so we've made it easy to dismiss them. Simply click the small x in the top right hand corner of the pop-up.
